A Purple Heart recipient, he has literally bled red, white, and blue. Dry and prickly by nature, he received his flight training at Guidance Aviation in his home state of Arizona. He then graduated from SUU in Cedar City, UT with an Associates Degree in Aviation Technology and his commercial pilot certification. He loves fishing, his cat (creatively named Kitty), and his hometown team the Houston Texans--not in that order. He then earned his AAS Professional Pilot from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. Hailing from the Midwest, he’s thrilled to finally be defrosting down here at the beach. If you want to know how much this nerd really loves helicopters, he even spends his spare time assembling and flying RC aircraft!
